The sessions

Three sessions, every week.

ASession A

Hips & Groin Restore

A season of strides and crossovers leaves the hip flexors short and the groin overworked. Range first, then the adductors and glutes rebuilt with slow, controlled work — nothing that asks for speed.

  1. 01Hip Range
  2. 02Groin Rebuild
  3. 03Glutes & Hip Flexors
  4. 04Trunk
BSession B

Rebalance

Hockey is played to one side — you shoot one way, turn better one way, take hits on one side. Single-leg and single-arm work at light load, weaker side first, evens out what the season skewed.

  1. 01Single-Leg Strength
  2. 02Single-Arm Strength
  3. 03Rotation, Both Ways
  4. 04Hamstrings & Carry
  5. 05Re-Entry Patterns
CSession C

Aerobic Base, Neck & Upper Back

A season of net-front battles is paid for in the neck and upper back. Easy, steady riding rebuilds the aerobic base, then the neck and the muscles between the shoulder blades get the work they missed all winter.

  1. 01Aerobic Base
  2. 02Neck & Upper Back
  3. 03Hip & Groin Mobility
  4. 04Ankles & Balance
Week by week

Three weeks, start to finish.

Each week runs sessions A to C. Open any one of them on its own.

  1. Week01

Decompress. Nothing loaded beyond bodyweight and a band — find out what is tight, what still aches, and which side is weaker.

  2. Week02

Restore. Light load comes back, one leg and one arm at a time, weaker side first. Every set should feel easy; that is the point.

  3. Week03

Re-prepare. The squat, the hinge and landings return at light weights so the build does not start cold. Then take a few days completely off.

Ready when you are

Start week one on the days you train.

Every session lands on your schedule, and any of them can be moved later.
