Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Elite Hockey LLC (“Elite Hockey HQ,” “we,” or “us”) covering your use of the Elite Hockey HQ website, mobile app, browser extension, and related services (together, the “platform”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

How we handle personal information is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

Who Can Use Elite Hockey HQ

You must be at least 16 years old to create your own account. If you are under 16, a parent or legal guardian must complete signup and accept these terms on your behalf, and they remain responsible for the account. If you create an account for a team or organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

Your Account

Keep your account information accurate and your login credentials private. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, so tell us promptly at support@elitehockeyhq.com if you believe someone else has access to it. Accounts are for the person or organization they were created for and should not be shared or resold.

Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

Elite Hockey HQ offers a free tier along with paid athlete, custom coaching, and team plans. Current plans, features, and prices are listed on our pricing page, which is the source of truth if anything here and there ever disagree. All prices are in U.S. dollars.

  • Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you selected — monthly or annual — until you cancel.
  • The Athlete plan begins with a 7-day free trial. Billing starts only if you keep the plan past the trial. Other plans do not include a trial.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe's own terms.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then.
  • We may change prices or plan contents. If a change affects a plan you are on, we will give you notice before it applies to your next renewal so you can cancel if you prefer.

Training Guidance Is Not Medical Advice

Elite Hockey HQ provides general strength, conditioning, skill, nutrition, and recovery guidance — including recommendations generated by our AI training assistant and readiness tools. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a qualified physician, physical therapist, dietitian, or mental health professional.

Training carries inherent risk of injury. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training or nutrition program, especially if you have an existing injury or medical condition. Stop and seek care if you feel unwell. You decide whether to act on anything the platform suggests, and you do so at your own risk. Automated recommendations can be wrong or incomplete — use your judgment and your coaching staff's.

Connected Services and Wearables

You can connect third-party services such as WHOOP to sync recovery and training-load data. Connecting an account authorizes us to retrieve that data to power your readiness and analytics features. Those services are run by their own providers under their own terms, we do not control their availability or accuracy, and you can disconnect them at any time from your settings.

Content You Submit

Some parts of the platform let you post content publicly — camp listings, job posts, and recruitment profiles — and other parts let you enter your own training, performance, and account information. You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the platform and show it to the audience you chose.

You are responsible for what you post: you confirm you have the right to share it, that it is accurate, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove or decline to publish submissions that break these terms, and we review public listings before or after they appear.

Acceptable Use

When using Elite Hockey HQ, please do not:

  • Break the law, infringe intellectual property, or violate someone else's privacy.
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other users, athletes, or our staff.
  • Post content that is misleading, discriminatory, or exploitative — particularly in listings aimed at youth athletes and their families.
  • Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the platform, access accounts or data that are not yours, or bypass plan limits and access controls.
  • Scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute our workouts, programs, videos, or other content, or use them to build a competing product.
  • Upload malware or use the platform to send spam.

Our Content

The platform and the material we create for it — workouts, programs, skill videos, articles, drills, analytics, software, and branding — belong to Elite Hockey LLC or our licensors. While your account is active and in good standing, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use that material for your own training or, on a team plan, for your team's. That license does not transfer ownership of anything.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, creates risk or legal exposure, or has unpaid charges — with notice where reasonably possible. We may also change, pause, or discontinue features as the product evolves. If we terminate a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of the period you already paid for.

Disclaimers and Limits on Liability

The platform is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that data synced from third-party services will be correct, or that following our programs will produce any particular athletic result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elite Hockey LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform changes. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and we will give notice of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Elite Hockey LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be handled in the courts located there.
